“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
— Carl Rogers
I am deeply drawn to people and their stories. In my work, I provide a steady, supportive space for individuals, couples, and families to explore what is happening beneath the surface and to engage their stories with honesty and intention. Therapy with me is not about staying stuck—it is about movement, direction, and becoming more fully who you are.
Before entering the counseling profession, I spent 20 plus years in the business world working closely with clients to solve complex problems and help them move toward meaningful goals. What I consistently found, however, was that many of the challenges people brought to work were rooted in deeper personal questions around identity, purpose, and confidence. That realization—along with several pivotal medical experiences—led me to reevaluate my path. Through my own experience in therapy, I discovered a clearer sense of agency and direction, and ultimately felt called to offer that same process to others.
I am especially passionate about working with individuals who are ready to take ownership of their lives, strengthen their sense of self, and move toward greater clarity and purpose. Together, we work to identify what is holding you back, develop practical and emotional tools for growth, and build a life that reflects your values rather than fear or habit.
I live in Brentwood, Tennessee with my wife, our three children, and our dog, Dolly. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy mountain biking, live music, and supporting the local arts community.
